The Green Blocks Pilot Project will be implemented in phases with some occurring simultaneously.

Phase I: Recruit residential city blocks in Seattle to participate and conduct home performance assessments

Phase II: Apply performance assessment recommendations
Start date: September 1, 2009
End date: June 30, 2010

Phase III: Conduct a feasibility study for deploying neighborhood clean energy technology (PV, solar thermal, geothermal)
Start date: January 1, 2010
End date: June 30, 2010

Phase IV: Implement recommendations from the clean energy technology feasibility study
Start date: July 1, 2010
End date: December 31, 2011
