American Public Works Fall Conference

This week, we're at the APWA (American Public Works Association) Fall conference in Yakima, WA. It's a gathering of engineers, consultants, and city public works employees who have come together for two days of presentations and courses. We're at a table in the large exhibitor hall filled with everything from full-sized mockups of streetlights to games where you try to win a prize by tossing a ping pong ball through holes in a picture of different sized pipes. (It's hard!)

The goal for us is to meet as many people as possible who might benefit from our trainings, and network with some potential instructors who might present some new courses with us in 2012. So far, it's going great, and people have been stopping by all day to find out what we're about.

Since a lot of the folks here are in the stormwater  management business, we're highlighting our Industrial, Construction, and EPA 1669 "Clean Hands/Dirty Hands" offerings, and we even produced a new video to showcase the different topics that each course presents. Watch the video here to see what the conference attendees are seeing at our booth, and if you happen to be at the conference, stop by and say hi!
